Albategnius and Hipparchus

 

 

 

Here you can see the craters Albategnius (top left corner), a very prominent feature

on the moon's surface and Hipparchus (the bigger crater close to the middle of the picture).

The LX 200 was working at f/10 and this picture is a two exposure mosaik with my Logitech Quickcam,

using Photoshop for further image enhancement and combining the pictures.

Each of the two shots used in this picture consist of 20 exposures that were previously combined in Astrostack.

Exposures: two (stack from 20 exposures using Astrostack / combined in Photoshop)
