Mercury, May 15th, 2001

I never thought that I could get him, but this May Mercury was positioned quite
high in the early evening sky. Well, I couldn't record a lot, but at least the phase is visible.
This picture is a stack of 20 exposures with the LX 200 working at f/10.
No filter was used and the exposures were stacked Astrostack. I've used "unsharp masking"
in Photoshop for further image enhancing.
Equipment:
Teleskope: Meade LX 200 at f/10
Reducer: none
Camera: Logitech Quickcam VC
Exposures: 20 (using Astrostack / further enhanced in Photoshop)
Conditions: good
Date: May 15th, 2001
