M42, first light with R200SS
My first shot with my new mount (EQ6) and my new prime focus instrument,
a Vixen R200SS Newton f/4 reflector.
My polar alignement was not perfect (as you can see),
but this first night out with the equipment, I was hungry to shoot!!!!!
Only slight image adjustments were done in PS!
Equipment:
Teleskope: Vixen R200SS 8" Newton f/4
Reducer/Corrector: Coma Corrector
Camera: Nikon F3 HP - at prime focus
f / Stop: f/4
Film: Kodak Elitechrome 200
Exposure: 20 minutes
Conditions: fair (Vogelsberg, Germany)
