h & chi in Perseus

 

 

One of the nicest objects especially for small telescopes is the double star clouster

h&chi in Perseus. With my 2" 32mm eyepice the clouster fills the complete field of view

and you can see hunderts of stars in different colors.

This is also one of the objects I want to reshoot with longer focal lenght.

 


Equipment:

Teleskope: Meade LX 200 at f/10 - used for guiding only

Reducer: none

Camera: Pentax ES II - piggybacked on telescope

Lens: Tamron 135 mm

f / Stop: f/4

Film: Kodak Elitechrome 200

Exposure: 25 minutes

Conditions: good
